SPIEL 21 - Part 1

Just 2 days before SPIEL....and not just a common edition: I'm now attending as a game designer in the 'Autoren Workshop'!

A great opportunity to meet a divers number of people from the game board industry and community. And of course promoting my Scarabee - The magic amulet game ;-) Hope to meet you there: Hal 6 E104 that's where my table is.

Pitch @ d4 Comic-Con San Diego

d4 Comic-Con is a great event for Game Pitch Review. Did my submission so hopefully the game makes it to the "pitch table"
June 6: YES, it made it to the pitch room! Good pitch practise and valuable game feedback from the panel.

After several months of design lessons, master classess and "Polish sessions", the BIG Pitch day was going to happen!

Update on the Magic Amulet

Based on a recent practice pitch with the team of StoneBlade Entertainment I received some valuable feedback to simplify the game. >>

An interview in the "Zevenaar Post" on the game idea of Scarabee - the Magic Amulet: Jan ontwikkelt zijn eigen bordspel (zevenaarpost.nl)

Race Master (non-active project)

This game idea and prototype is designed with the thought of a racing and betting game.

Megalith - First Contact (active project)

This design seems to emerge to a real time player mechanism, something I certainly did not expect when stating to work on the game idea.

Scarabee - The Magic Amulet (active project)

Started beginning of 2020 with a proto type for a mechanical idea.

SpaceShuffle (non active project)

Stuck in a shuttle, space-jacked (?) bij ET's who do not look friendly. Can the team escape in time?

Masters of Utopia (non active project)

An idea triggered by the 999Games contest from 2012
